I got to be part of a shoot out with a great bride and groom.Micheal and Michelle you guys rock!!! We were able to go to the Milwaukee Art Museum and to the streets of the 3rd Ward. It was such a blast!! Thanks again to Jenna ( Jenna Julianne Photography) for letting me tag along and be part of this. It was just the little pick me up that I needed after trying to feel like myself again after having a baby, my dad being put in home hospice, and then passing on... I am forever grateful to Jenna to letting me part of this to take me out of a deep funk. I almost was ready to say good bye to my studio and my business because sometimes life can be just too much, but this one event made me realize that I have a great talent and that I would be lost w/o a purpose if I didn't have my joyful career to fall back on. Thanks again Jenna, Mike and Michelle for this great opportunity!!! If anyone is interested in doing this type of session with me, please give me a call. Not only will you have a memorable relaxed session, but we will also create a beatiful montage album full of one of a kind images of you and your spouse, or a even just a fun fashion shoot. Remember there is nothing off limits!!
Lila and I had a great time with her session. These images were all created around her family's property, and we found a field up the road from her house full of the dandelions. Very lovely and photogenic is our Lila.
These images are of my father's military burial. I think they speak for themselves. My dad served in the Korean War. He was also a Legionnaire who was part of many 21 gun salutes for his fellow comrades. It was his turn to receive this great honor. I love you "daddy" rest in peace. Love Marie Thanks to Jenna for taking these great images for our family!.
well I finally got a chance to get Olivia in the studio...successfully. The first time I tried by myself it was kind of comical!! I got her all set up on the soft blanket and just where I wanted her. She is pretty squirmy so she kept moving around while I would try to hold her in place or move her hands or feet. Then she peed on the blanket and started to scream cause she hates being on her belly, Then she was hungry. Didn't bring a bottle, so I said forget it and went home. Well this time went much better. Still a challenge but much better. Got some really cute stuff. I have found that the best way to get the sleeping ones, may be to bring the baby hungry, that way you can feed them at our studio, they get all nice and cozy and sleepy, do those shots, and then we wake them up for the smiley ones. They seem to let you do all sorts of things when they are sleeping. :)
I have a Great Newphew...This is my Neice Erica's handsome little man. I still can't believe I am a great ant...very cool. He was such a charmer for the camera. More of these to come...
I really do love taking pictures. It is my career and I would honestly be lost with out it!! I love to make people happy with the pictures I take of them. I love to get that child's genuine smile and that look of love in a couples eyes. It makes my day, everyday!!
